In 1995 our son Jesse found that he had Hepatitis C. He took Interferon for 8 months in 1996. It was a very hard experience, very hard for everybody. It was very extensive and there were many sideeffects. His viral count when he found out that he had Hepatitis C was 750,000. When he took Interferon after about 4 or 5 months, it got down to 37,000 but then it began to go back up. The last PCR viral test that he had, while he was still taking Interferon was 195,000. There was no need to continue with the Interferon at that point because his viral count was going up. His doctor said that it would just continue to go up, that the treatment had only slowed it down temporarily. Last year 1999, he began to just feel really, really bad. Far worse than he did when he first discovered he had it. He was sick all the time, no energy and a lot of problems.

I had known about Transfer Factor but thinking that it was just another nutritional supplement, just another vitamin, I did not realize the significance of it. I had heard that it was helpful with Hepatitis C, so I decided that he didn't have anything to lose. He was going downhill very fast. He was very, very sick. Hepatitis C and TF/TF+

In 1995 I got sick and got the flu. I thought it was the flu, I went to the doctor and it wasn't. It was Hepatitis C, which is a viral disease that attacks and destroys the liver. Well at the point he told me, I only had about ten years to live. I started to treat myself with herbs and vitamins and all this other kind of stuff. In 1997 I got really ill and it started to affect my pancreas, my spleen, everything. I was just totally shutting down. Then I sought out another doctor and he put me on Interferon and Ribaviran.
